The Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development and
Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC) was set up by the Government of
Puducherry in the year 1974 plays dual role of industrial development and
financing. PIPDIC has been playing a pivotal role in the development of
Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Union Territory of
Puducherry for the last 45 years of its existence. I am happy to state that
the Government of Puducherry has announced a New Industrial Policy with
attractive fiscal incentives to ensure vibrant Growth of industrial sector in
the Union Territory of Puducherry. PIPDIC provides financial assistance for
