1.1. Background of this handbook (Right to Information Act, 2005) :
This
hand book is brought out according to Section 4 the Right to Information Act,
2005 in order to provide information for Citizens for securing access to
information from the public authorities.

handbook is brought out to facilitate as a tool for setting out the practical

(PIPDIC) was set up by the Government of Pondicherry in 1974
with the twin objective of promoting the Industrial Development of Pondicherry and providing financial
assistance to entrepreneurs. It is a
limited company with an authorized share capital of Rs.45 crores.
PIPDIC provides various facilities such as Term loans, Equity
participations / Underwriting of Capital issues, Hire Purchase and Lease
Financing, IT & Electronic Parks/Growth Centre/Industrial Estates.
